There are no interested ones in purchase of PKB corporation

For the purchase of the assets at Agricultural Corporation Belgrade (PKB) no offer has been delivered, the mayor of Belgrade, Sinisa Mali said. He told to reporters that now a discussion with the Ministry of Economy will follow so that they see what are the next steps and within which timeline but stressed out that the solution for PKB must be found by the end of May when the protection from collection of the creditor expires.

Mali reminded that the estimated liabilities of PKB for creditors are between EUR 60 and 70 m.

Public invitation for sale of 51 % of the assets at PKB was published late last year, at the initial price of app. EUR 154m.

Estimated value of variable PKB assets at the end of 2014 totaled EUR 39.6 m and fixed assets 303.9 m.

PKB cultivates app. 21,000 ha of land and half of these is mainly used for cattle food production.
