Nikola Tesla Airport expects net profit of RSD 3.3 billion

The gross profit of the Belgrade airport in 2015 will be at RSD 3.971 billion, up 6% from 2014, while the net profit is expected to reach RSD 3.314 billion, says Aerodrom Nikola Tesla (Nikola Tesla Airport) Acting General Manager Sasa Vlaisavljevic, who also adds that "it is one of the best business results since the establishment of the Belgrade airport".
Let us remind that the Aerodrom Nikola Tesla company paid a total of about RSD 2.2 billion in interim and final dividends to the budget of the Republic of Serbia in 2015.
Aside from record financial results, the airport also set records for passenger and cargo traffic in 2015 by transporting more than 4.77 million passengers and boosting freight and mail traffic by 25 and 43%, respectively.
The year 2016 too started off successfully for the Belgrade airport. January saw the company transport 1,100 tonnes of goods and mail, up 33% from the same period in 2015.
January 2016 revenues totaled RSD 665 million, up 5% from January 2015. Total expenditures in the first month of 2016 were 20% smaller than in the same month last year, amounting to RSD 429 million.
