According to the National Consumer Organization of Serbia, last year the citizens mainly complained of the information and communication equipment ( phones, computers, laptops,etc.). Out of the total number of applications, 20% of complaints were related just to quality of these devices while second-ranked is clothing and footwear and household appliances which has been the first-ranked for years, is the third-ranked now. With this kind of statistics and the fact that the number of consumers who turn to the court in cases when there are no other options is not significant, Serbia is celebrating March 15, World Consumers’ Rights Day.- March 15, upon World Consumers’ Rights Day, the Centre for the European Policy reminded of great importance of this economic group and the fact that their voice is not sufficiently heard at decision-makers in Serbia.
