Late 2016 to see completion of Clinical Center in Nis

Construction of the new Clinical Center in Nis has been running smoothly and construction works should complete by the end of the year, Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar said during a visit to the Nis Clinic of Gynecology and Obstetrics.

- Work on the track of unshaped level and for now they are going well. Due to weather conditions, which can sometimes limit the work there are delays, but they are less than twenty days - said Loncar.He said Serbia has already been in talks with the European Bank on providing funds for equipment purchase .- As soon as the building is completed, equipment will be ready so it can go start operating – Loncar said. Construction of the Clinical Center in Nis started in October 2013, and its opening is planned for 2017.New Clinical Center will have 48,000 m2, including 17 operating rooms, emergency center, Operations Center, the Center for intensive care, diagnostic and radiotherapy. Construction of Clinical Center will cost 32 million euros and is funded by a loan from the European Investment Bank.
