secretary at the Ministry of Defense, Zoran Djordjevic, was appointed on
Wednesday a new minister of defense at the Assembly of Serbia. Djordjevic was
supported by 165 parliament members while eight were against and they voted by
being asked.
After voting, Djordjevic passed an oath before the parliament.
He was appointed at the position upon the proposal of prime minister Aleksandar Vucic instead of Bratislav Gasic whom the parliament, due to sexist comment to a journalist, dissolved February 5 also upon the prime minister’s proposal.
