Zastava’s factory of special automobiles from Sombor exports vehicles to BIH, export of 100 vehicles until end of 2005

Sombor-based Zastava’s factory of special automobiles delivered the first shipment of vehicles to Federation of BIH. The shipment consists of 6 vehicles worth €40,000. Another 100 vehicles worth about €500,000 will be exported to BiH until the end of the year through Banja Luka-based company "Samaks". Export to Federation of BIH is finally recovering after 15-year pause. This year, Sombor-based factory also exported vehicles to Macedonia.

In cooperation with headquarters in Kragujevac, the works on equipping of vehicles with diesel engines are underway. That sould enable larger sales of the vehicles on foreign markets. During the first five months, Sombor-based factory sold 350 special automobiles and the estimates are that the annual balance will be equal to 1,000 vehicles, just like in 2004.
