(Belgrade) Belgrade ranks eighth in Europe in the category of the most cost-effective cities for investments by foreign investors, according to an analysis done by The Financial Times.
On that occasion, Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali assessed in a statement to Tanjug news agency that the City of Belgrade was quickly positioning as the most attractive investment destination in this part of the world.
- We have launched the implementation of projects that have been in the pipeline for decades, such as Belgrade Waterfront and Prokop. In the following period we plan on initiating the projects aimed at the revitalization of Sava Center, relocation of the bus station, and the construction of underground garages in city center - Mali stressed.
According to him, along with the application of the Investment Law, this will make Belgrade the largest building site in this part of Europe with the works running parallel to the implementation of long-term projects in the field of municipal infrastructure, such as landfill in Vinca and wastewater treatment plant in Veliko Selo.
