UniCredit starts "buddybank" - Bank for smart phone users

UniCredit announced started of “buddybank" in Italy, new molecular bank for solely users of smart phones. The essence of its business is fully reflected in its name – to be our "buddy" which is always there for a client, ready to help and give advice.

The offer of "buddybank" will comprise three traditional financial products: current account, credit/debit cards and loans for physical entities. Apart from that, clients will be able to use also “concierge” support available 24 hours, 7 days in a week through internet chat and phone. Namely, thanks to this functionality, “buddybank” will provide support for clients during booking of a restaurant, taxi or travel planning.

Through this innovative technology, "buddybank" will have the option to identify its clients in a few seconds, without complicated procedure and safety questions. On the other hand, clients will have option to open an account in a few minutes, to access instant loans, to monitor events at the stock market or focus on personal objectives i.e. savings.
