India introduces bans for selfies

The second in size Indian town, Mumbai, introduced a ban for selfie in 16 zones due to a number of accidents during attempts of people to make their own photos on mobile phones.

India holds unpopular world record when it comes to number of killed ones during an attempt to make a photo through a mobile phone.

According to Price Economics from San Francisco, during 2014, worldwide, 49 deaths were recorded during attempts to make selfie, 19 of which in India.

Mumbai police, for these data, declared a number of prohibited zones for selfie, especially along the coast where there is no fence.

Anyone who tries to make selfie in these zones can be punished with 1.200 rupees or USD 18 USD.
