Vesna Arsic named for new member of Alpha Bank Serbia Executive Board

Alpha Bank Serbia officially announced that Mrs. Vesna Arsic had been named for new member of Alpha Bank Serbia A.D. Executive Board. Mrs. Arsic will be responsible for business development and expansion of bank's activities.
Vesna Arsic joined Alpha Bank after long and successful career in banking and public sector. In the last 6 years, Mrs. Arsic had several high public functions, including the first woman Vice-Governor of the National Bank of Serbia, from 2001-2004, and as Deputy Minister of Finances, from 2004-2007.
During her works in the public sector, Mrs. Arsic participated in the number of projects of banking sector privatization, in the questions of regulating old foreign currency savings, in transferring of payment schedule to commercial banks. She was also a part of the team which worked on the project of introducing and implementing the VAT system, and she participated in writing of more than 100 financial laws.
“Vesna Arsic brings rich experience to Alpha bank, expert’s knowledge and extreme knowing of banking surroundings. We consider that her leading role would be of most significance in further development and conduction of long-term business politics in Alpha Bank in Serbia”, pointed out Mr. Panagiotis Vlasiadis, President of Executive Board Alpha Bank, congratulating Mrs. Arsic on her joining to Alpha bank team.
