Official confirmation - candidates for RTB "Bor" are Deripaska and Austrian "A-Tec Minerals"


Two bids were sent on the tender for sale of Mining Smeltery Basin (RTB) "Bor" - the first from company "Strikeforce", owned by Oleg Deripaska, and the other from Austrian "A-Tec Minerals and Metals Holding".
The bids for sale of Mining Smeltery Basin "Bor", sent by Russian SMR, part of company "Basic Element" owned by Oleg Deripaska, and Austrian company "A-Tec Minerals and Metals Holding", which operates within company "Brickshelf", were opened in the premises of the Privatization Agency of Serbia.
President of Tender commission for sale of RTB, Luka Andrić, schedulled the meeting for Monday, November 12. At that meeting, technical bids of qualified bidders, that is, the parts that are in connection with the investment program, will be examined. After that, the commission will open financial bids that concern price. The winner on the tender will be the bidder with the highest offered price.
General Manager of RTB, Miodrag Conić, said to the press that he was satisfied with the fact that there were two bidders, because that would lead to better terms for employees. He said that he expected that the new buyer met the criteria from the tender, invested anticipated amount of money and met conditions that concern ecology.
