Monthly inflation in January totals 0,6%

Monthly inflation in Serbia in January totaled 0,6%, and annual 2,4%, the Republic Statistical Bureau has announced today.

Average annual growth of consumer prices which measure inflation in 2015 totaled 1,9%.

In January, food and non-alcoholic drinks went up in prices (2,3%), communications (0,3%), alcoholic spirits, tobacco and education (0,2% each, rents, electricity, water, gas and other fuel (0,1%).

Transport services (0,9%), clothes and shoes (0,8%), recreation and culture (0,5%), furniture, household appliances and current flat maintenance (0,4%) restaurants and hotels (0,2%) were cheaper.
