German giant is coming to Serbia - Tonnies is planning to open a slaughter and 10 farms for pigs breeding

Owner of German meat industry, Tonnies, Clemens Tonnies, has confirmed today in Belgrade he is planning to organize meat production in Serbia and with the prime minister Aleksandar Vucic he agreed the next steps for the company arrival to Serbia, the most important of which is obtaining permits for work and education of staff from our country.

Vucic said that the contract with Tonnies is under preparation for June since Serbia should do a lot, especially when it comes to education and finding farmers from which pigs would be supplied.

As the prime minister announced, it is construction of a modern “vertical company” which will comprise production of crops for feeding, production and slaughter of pigs.
