Skal in Belgrade - International organization of tourism leaders presented at Tourism Fair

On the first day of the Tourism Fair in Belgrade, one of the oldest international organizations of tourism leaders - Skal International, was presented to the public in Serbia, and so was its Belgrade-based club that is being re-established. The initiator of meeting between Skal members and local experts was Ljiljana Rebronja, the editor of Turisticki Svet (Tourist World) magazine.
On that occasion, the ambassador and former president of Skal International, Nik Racic, introduced this organization to all the attendees, stressing that it existed since 1934 and that it brings together about 16,000 tourism professionals from 85 countries organized into more than 400 clubs, with a unique aim of networking with each other, creating business friendships worldwide and providing support to each other, not only in the realization of business interests, but also in professional development, knowledge improvement, promotion, etc.
- Late October 2016 will see the 77th Skal International World Congress taking place in Monaco, so I expect members of the future Skal Club in Belgrade to be there - Nik Racic said before handing his presidential Skal International flag and a flag for the future Skal Club in Belgrade to Ljiljana Rebronja.
Skal International, an associate member of the World Tourism Organization, has access to all important issues pertaining to tourism worldwide, making a significant contribution by participating in its projects and providing strong logistics support to the responsible tourism industry.
With the reestablishment of Skal Club Belgrade, local tourism leaders will get a chance to have 16,000 friends around the world and as many business opportunities.
