IMF: Assessment of fourth review of stand-by arrangement after elections
James Roaf, the head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission to Serbia, says that IMF representatives and Serbian authorities have agreed that the assessment of the new review of stand-by arrangement be made after the new Government is formed.
As the IMF Office in Belgrade announced, Mr. Roaf noted that the IMF Mission would be staying in Belgrade between February 18 and 26 to start talks about the fourth review of stand-by arrangement.
- Due to forthcoming elections, IMF representatives and Serbian authorities have agreed to close the discussion after the next visit of the IMF, when the new Government is formed - Road pointed out.
Serbia signed a three-year EUR 1.2 billion worth of precautionary stand-by arrangement with the IMF in February 2015.
