"Zastava Arms'" export - 20m USD

Value of "Zastava Arms’" export in 2008 should reach amount of 20m USD, which is the highest value since the end of the 1980’s.

Kragujevac-based arms factory has signed contract on export of infantry armament (rifles, machine guns...) and military equipment worth 15m USD, and it is expected that business arrangements for export of military armament worth 3-4m USD will also be made in November and at the beginning of December.

Part of that armament, especially those intended for countries that are considered to be critical world troublespots, will be delivered through American and British companies.

Since "Zastava Arms" and "Remington" agreed on extension of cooperation, arms factory from Kragujevac will be selling hunting carbines, small-caliber rifles and pistols to the buyers in America again next year.

It is estimated that "Zastava" will deliver 3-4m USD worth of carbines, small-caliber rifles and pistols to American market through "Remington".
