30m EUR invested in "Umka" - production increased by 20%

Volume of production and sales in Cardboard Factory "Umka" is bigger by 20% than in 2006. It is expected that about 73,000 metric tons of cardboard will be produced in 2007. Almost all new quantities of cardboard have been sold abroad.

By the way, about 30m EUR have been invested in modernization of "Umka" and purchase of modern equipment in the past three years.

Cardboard Factory "Umka" is export-oriented. About 70% of total production is exported, which makes "Umka" the largest Serbian exporter in the industry of paper, cardboard and packaging.
