A Draft Law on Gender Equality will be withdrawn, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transportation and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic announced today, stressing that she wanted the society to reach a concensus on that law.
As announced by Mihajlovic's Office, she explained that after the agreement with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, the law would be withdrawn for additional consultations with the non-governmental sector.
As Mihajlovic reminded, that law, on which they have been working for more than a year, is very significant because it covers all segments of our society.
- That is the reason why I don't want anyone in Serbia to be against it - said Mihajlovic.
