Serbia hopes for money from the EU - EUR 17.1 million required for construction of water treatment and sewerage system in Kraljevo

Construction of a wastewater treatment and sewerage system in Kraljevo, valued at EUR 17.1 million, is a top-priority project, Serbian Agriculture and Environmental Protection Minister Snezana Bogosavljevic-Boskovic said Wednesday and added that she was sure the funding for that project would be provided by the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance in 2017.
She said in Kraljevo that the project in question was on the list of priority infrastructure projects of her ministry in the field of wastewater management, stressing that the funding would be provided as a result of cooperation between the Ministry, the EU and the City of Kraljevo.
Minister Boskovic also pointed out that the quality of life in Kraljevo would be enhanced and the pollution of the Ibar River reduced.
