Republic of Serbia passed regulation on protection of areas with exceptional features “Šargan-Mokra Gora”

In the Official Bulletin of Republic of Serbia, no. 52/2005 of June 21, 2005, it was announced that the Government of Republic of Serbia put the area of Šargan mountain and Mokra Gora’s valley under protection for the sake of preservation of that area, flora and fauna, water, land, buildings, tourist railroad “Šarganska osmica”, ethno complex of Emir Kusturica “Drvengrad” etc. The surface of the area is 3678.23 ha and it is registered in real estate registries of municipalities of Mokra Gora, Kremna and Semegnjevo.
