Company "Henkel" has invested about 50m EUR in factory "Merima" in five years and, in that way, it exceeded investment obligations that amounted to 43.6m EUR. Number of employees has been reduced since 2002 from 1,151 to 616, and their salaries have never been cut and, once a year, they are brought in accord with the inflation growth - said President of Administrative Board of "Henkel Merima, Gradimir Milošević, yesterday (November 1, 2007) at the press conference occasioned by the fifth anniversary of sale of 70% of capital of "Merima" to German company.

He reminded that 46% of production of "Merima" ended on foreign markets - in countries of the region, as well as in Slovenia, Poland, Ukraine and Austria...

According to Milošević's words, "Henkel" invested much money in production units, introduction of new technologies into production and equipment, and few million euros have been invested only in IT infrastructure.

Factory of adhesives was opened in June 2007 in Inđija. This factory has about 30 workers and it is expected that new jobs will be created with the growth of production .
