Oleg Deripaska and Austrian "Brickshelf" to compete for Mining Smeltery Basin "Bor" - Drakulić gave up

Offer for exploitation rights and purchase of property of Mining Smelter Basin (RTB) "Bor" had been delivered by only 2 companies before 5 PM yesterday (October 31, 2007), which was the deadline. These companies are: "Basic Element", owned by Russian businessman Oleg Deripaska, and Austrian company "Brickshelf".

Surprise was made by Zoran Drakulić, President of Cypriot company "East Point", who, in spite of announcements, did not submit offer for purchase of RTB!

Drakulić, who was the second-ranked bidder on the last tender, decided not to participate in the auction for purchase of RTB "Bor" just before final and obligatory offers were to be submitted.
