Mercator is expecting EUR 2,6 billion profit in 2016

Mercator Group in 2016 is planning sales profit of EUR 2,6 billion which is a bit more than last year’s result.
Business plan for 2016 implies growth of profit at all markets where Mercator
operates apart from Croatian and the highest turnover will be generated at Slovenian
(56,2% planned profit) i and Serbian market (35,7%).
Growth in Slovenia, Serbia and Montenegro will be based mainly on opening of new shops while in Bosnia and Herzegovina, profit will grow thanks to greater income generated through renting trading areas. In Croatia, they will continue with closing of the remaining retail units so profits will continue to decrease.
Mercator will continue sale of unnecessary property and monetization of its real estate.
