Bratislav Gasic discharged as minister of defense

Members of ruling and opposition parties voted.

Parliament members discharged Gasic at the proposal of the prime minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and for the offensive comment to a journalist of B92, Zlatija Labovic.

Vucic, during his speech to parliament members at the Assembly, said that proposal for discharging Gasic is entirely "rare and unusual request".

At the same time with the proposal for discharging Gasic, Vucic authorized minister of finance, Dusan Vujovic, acting minister of defense until new minister is appointed.
