Aleksandar Vucic has recently said that there are no obstacles to the arrival of Tonnies in Serbia, and the Vojvodina Broadcasting Corporation RTV is now checking if local self-governments in the areas where that German company is supposed to build farms and slaughterhouses have already started considering the details, locations and other necessary requirements for the investor's arrival.
As RTV was told by Ljuban Sredic, the head of municipal administration in Kikinda, there has been no new information, instructions or notices from the Government and the competent ministry to date.

Let us remind that the municipality of Kikinda was announced as one of the local self-governments that would give Tonnies the right to lease up to 3,000 hectares of local agricultural land for a period of 30 years. It was also said once that Tonnies would build a fattening farm for up to 80,000 pigs in the territory of the Kikinda municipality.
