Shorter procedure for market concentration registration

New Regulation on contents and method of applying concentration, acquisition of control over another participant at the market or its work, applicants who meet the conditions for application in short form will enabled with simplified procedure due to decrease of the number of necessary documents.

Violation of commitments which refer to registration of concentration within deadline and halt in implementation of concentration until decision is made is a violation to the Law on protection of competition, the Commission outlines and payment of process penalty is specified for that.

The objective to register concentration is also prevention through previous control of concentrations with an objective to protect from limitations, endangering or prevention of competition i.e. creation or strengthening of dominant position of participants of concentration at the market.
