Company "Verano Motors" bought Department Stores "Beograd" for 360m EUR

Department Stores "Beograd" were sold today (October 29, 2007) on public auction for 360m EUR to domestic company "Verano Motors", owned by Radomir Živanić from Belgrade.

There were 10 domestic and foreign potential buyers on the public auction in hotel "Hyatt", and starting price amounted to 140m EUR.

Privatization Agency announced tender on July 27, 2007, for sale of company Department Stores "Beograd". Total of 239,679.06 square meters of office space was offered for sale - total of 34 department stores: DS on Terazije, "Beograđanka", DS "Podgoričanka", DS in Bijelo Polje, Subotica, Kikinda, Vranje, Pirot, Užice, Bačka Topola, Niš, Vršac, Bor, Zrenjanin, Užice...

The list also includes Business and Distribution Center in Belgrade with the right on use of 27 ha of city building land, as well as supermarket and warehouse "Spuž" in Podgorica.
