Belgium Van Hool pours EUR 15 m in bus production boost in Macedonia

Construction of new bus production department will start in February and new investment will be implemented in the next four years and will open additional 400 vacancies. Van Hool is planning to hire 1250 employees in Macedonia by 2019.

Agreement on investment was signed yesterday by owner of Van Hool, Filip van Hol and the head of Directorate for technological industrial development zone of Macedonia, Viktor Mizo , in the presence of Macedonian Prime Minister, Emil Dimitriev and leader of governing VMRO DPMNE, former prime minister, Nikola Gruevskog.

Current investment of Van Hool, since beginning of its operations in Macedonia, two years ago, from announced EUR 13 m, increased to EUR 20 m for bus production department.

Belgium company for buses production, Van Hool was set up in 1947. It places major part of production to Europe and USA.
