Turkey's TAV Airports Holding and France's Vinci interested in Nikola Tesla Airport

Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade is eyed by two companies - Turkey's TAV Airports Holding and France's Vinci, the daily Novosti reports today.

The French company Vinci still has the greatest chance to partner up with Serbia in that deal, a source from the Serbian government unofficially confirmed to Novosti.
Novosti writes that it is still unknown if the state as the majority owner will decide to sell the airport through the privatization process or to entrust its management and maintenance to a foreign company through a concession. This will depend on the privatization adviser which should be appointed after the elections.

The Serbian government expects a revenue of EUR 500 million from the investor if they opt for the concession.

The Turkish company TAV considers investing in the Belgrade airport, while the French company Vinci wants to buy it, the daily reports.

As announced, Nikola Tesla Airport is among the most profitable Serbian companies with an annual profit of over RSD 3.4 billion. The majority owner is the state which holds a stake of 83.15%, whereas the remainder is held by minor shareholders. However, the airport share price is on a decline.
