Satellite helps legalization - Shots of illegal facilities are coming

According to our findings, shots have already been made but not published on the website of the Ministry yet. The shots were made by a specialized American company for EUR 1,1 m ending at November 27, 2015 when the Law on legalization came into force. Based on it, construction inspectors will be able to see whether a facility was built after that date. Everything on site and not on shot will be demolished.

- Insight into a shot will be enabled for each citizen. It can be thus checked whether a facility in question exists – the Ministry explains.

The most modern technology was used for shots so that zoom of up to 20 cm will be possible.

Local construction inspection is in charge of demolishing of illegal construction. Owner of an illegal facility receives to his or her home address a decision on demolishing and is obliged to demolish it himself. If this is not respected, local self-governance will hire a demolishing company and the funds for removal of these facilities will be reeived at the court from its owner.
