Electronic administration cooperation with Republic of Korea


Cooperation between Serbia and the Republic of Korea in the area of electronic administration has been agreed upon at a meeting between Kori Udovicki, the Serbian minister of state administration and local government, and Lee Do-hoon, the ambassador of the Republic of Korea.
As the competent ministry announced, cooperation will be significant for Serbia, especially considering that the Korean e-Administration was declared the best in the world three times in a row by the United Nations.
Kori Udovicki has thanked the ambassador for Korea's readiness to help the improvement of development of e-Administration in Serbia through the exchange of experiences, transfer of the examples of good practice and the provision of legal and technical support.
Mr. Do-hoon said that the Republic of Korea was ready to direct the support to Serbia at some concrete segments of e-Administration, such as e-Customs, e-Tax, e-Budget...
The Ministry of State Administration and Local Government also noted that a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two countries would be signed very soon.
The Republic of Korea has already signed similar MoU's with 37 countries, including Great Britain, Germany, China, Bulgaria, Italy, Romania, Moldova, and Poland.
