NBS: Jubmes banka is well capitalized

The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) announced in a release on Friday (8 January 2016) that JUBMES banka a.d. Beograd was well-capitalized, that is capital adequacy ratio was significantly above the statutory limit, explaining that that ensured the coverage of operational risks.

Namely, the NBS reacted to media writings relating to the stability of operations of JUBMES banka a.d. Beograd, which the NBS underlined had operating indicators in compliance with the general standard requirements under the law. - JUBMES banka a.d. Beograd is well-capitalized. Its capital is much above the prescribed census and the capital adequacy ratio significantly above the statutory minimum, which ensures the coverage of operational risks. Furthermore, the bank has ample liquidity provisions and its liquidity ratio is far above the statutory minimum - the NBS wrote in the release on its website, stressing that the result was such notwithstanding the recent changes in the bank’s managing bodies, which were part of its regular practice.
