(Dragan Markovic Palma)President of the Assembly of the City of Jagodina and national parliament member, Dragan Marković Palma, said on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the traditional Christmas Day ritual in Koncarevo that Jagodina will have more than 15 foreign plants and that all citizens of Jagodina will be employed, it was communicated at the official city website.

- We brought Russians, Chinese, Italians, Germans, Austrians and French. Now, Russia and Turkey are facing problems but I discussed with my associates with a Turkish investor which wil by the end of the year open a textile plant in Jagodina where 800 people will be employed. At Christmas Day, I am a very lucky man since today I employed 12 people at Italian plants and they will start working as of January 10. We will not hire in local self-governance and public companies although we have 1.266 employees in that sector and 1.306 is allowed – Markovic said and reminded he was one of the main initiators that Serbia joins EU.

The Assembly of the City of Jagodina set aside RSD 57.540.000 for 2016 as support and incentives for farmers and investment activities of local communities.
