Government of Serbia helps "Trepča" with 40m RSD

- Government of Serbia allotted 40m RSD from the budget reserves yesterday (OCtober 19, 2007) for subventions to company "Trepča" from Zvečane. "Trepča" should use that money to buy equipment for production of lead and lead alloys by processing secondary lead - said Minister of Economy and REgional DEvelopment Mlađan Dinkić.

In that way, "Trepča" will be able to hire 250 new workers.

- We have already spoken to the Head of UNMIK for Economic Issues and we intend to do that in cooperation with UNMIK, because it is important that people who live in Kosovo get jobs - said Dinkić.

As he pointed out, the idea is that "Trepča" and other companies from the north of Kosmet, which employ mainly Serbs, be under control of the Privatization Agency of Serbia.
