President of the State Audit Institution (SAI), Radoslav Sretenovic, has warned that most institutions in Serbia do not have an established system of financial management, control and internal audit.

As he confirmed, SAI mainly has no difficulties collecting the documentation from budget users whose financial reports they control.

Sretenovic also noted that SAI got less money for 2016 than planned, citing that as a reason why the number of audited subjects and the scope of audit would be smaller this year.
