Zeleznice Srbije and Srbijagas generated biggest loss in 2014

Zeleznice Srbije and Srbijagas generated the biggest losses in 2014, the Agency for Business Registries (ABR) published. The list of “100 … companies", where companies rank for several indicators from financial reports, it was stated that total loss of Zeleznice Srbije totaled app. RSD 158 billion which is 7,9% more than in 2013. Net loss of Zeleznice in 2014 increased by 53,3%, to RSD 11,8 billion.

Total loss of Novi Sad-based Srbijagas totaled RSD 151,2 billion which is an increase of 40% compared to 2013.

Third-ranked in 2014 is Pancevo-based HIP Petrohemija with the loss of RSD 69,6 billion which is 18,8% higher than previous year.

VIP mobile is fourth-ranked with total loss of RSD 59,4 billion which is an increase of 9,7% compared to 2013. Company’s net loss increased to RSD 5,3 billion.

Fifth-ranked is Kragujevac-based Zastava automobil with total losses of RSD 55,8 billion and 9% higher than in 2013 while net losses increased five times to RSD 4,6 billion.

Total loss of Serbian economy in 2014 was RSD 3.282 billion, which is 13,8% more than previous year.
