Reconciliation of smokers and non-smokers - Belgrade's restaurant "Zaplet" introduced "BAT" ventilation system

Company "British American Tobacco" (BAT) has implemented an efficient air ventilation system in restaurant "Zaplet", which eliminates tobacco smoke and creates compromise solution for smokers and non-smokers.

- We all know that oxygen is life. BAT made a ventilation system that makes it possible for both smokers and non-smokers to be in the same room without harmful consequences caused by tobacco smoke. BAT installed this sytem in 50 countries - said General Manager of company "BAT" for southeast Europe, Luis Heren, at yesterday's (October 15, 2007) presentation of the system in restaurant "Zaplet".

According to the words of Vladimir Malentijević, the owner of restaurant "Zaplet", he managed to improve operations in cooperation with company BAT and to create better conditions for both guests of the restaurant and employees.

- I think that this project proved that, with good ventilation system, both smokers and non-smokers can be served in the same room without possibility that any of them feels endangered - Malentijević added.
