"Galeb group" invested 2m EUR in units of "Zimpa"

By investing more than 2m EUR in the units of company for production of metal equipment "Zimpa" from Ub, "Galeb Group" - majority owner of this company since recently - became one of the largest investors in the region of Valjevo in 2007.

At yesterday's celebration (October 15, 2007) of the 59th anniversary of "Zimpa", on the occasion of which some employees were rewarded cash awards for loyalty, Radoslav Veselinović, president of "Galeb group", pointed out that the new Japanese numeric machines of the latest generation, as well as modern technology, in combination with long experience of 160 workers, represented good foundations for achievement of the goal - that "Zimpa" becomes production leader in metal industry in the region. Safety devices, metal safe deposit boxes and special doors - the products of the company from Ub, are used by the National Bank and all business banks in the country, as well as numerous financial institutions in former Yugoslav republics - said Veselinović.

He pointed out that the export of those devices, as well as metal furniture, would be one of the basic tasks of "Zimpa".

Illustrating good results of the company, Veselinović has reminded that the value of stock of "Zimpa" in March, when it became the property of "Galeb Group", amounted to 3,000 RSD, while its current value is 8,400 RSD.

The unit with new machines and equipment has been opened by Vidosava Džagić, President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Valjevo.
