There will be no gas price increase in 2016 - Reserves sufficient for three months of supplying

GM at Srbijagas, Dusan Bajatovic, has said today there will be no problems in gas supplying as well as that next year there will be no gas price increase in Serbia.

Bajatovic said for TV Pink that the Government will no longer be able to influence gas price and that the price will keep up with the world trends.

He said there are no political or informative estimations there can be problems in gas supplying from Ukraine and added Serbia has gas reserves for three months, stating that Banatski Dvor has reserves of 450 m cubic meters.

Bajatovic said that for the next year, app. USD 170 for thousand cubic meters of gas is expected at the Ukraine-Hungarian border so the price will be at our boundary app. USD 220 USD, "which is very comfortable and much cheaper than other fuel".

GM of Srbijagas said that when recalculated, it can be seen that the price here will be some thrity and something dinars for a cubic and it will mainly depend on dollar exchange rate which is on the increase.

- There is no gas price increase in the next year definitely, regardless of the war in the Middle East. Apart from that, there will be no decreases and the only thing which can affect gas price is the dollar exchange rate but we are speaking about minor corrections– Bajatovic said.

Heat plants, as he said, also improved their liquidity and there will be no problems.

Bajatovic said production started at Azotara, Petrohemija and Metanolsko-sircetni kombinat and that talks with strategic partners have been in progress.
