Representatives of governments of Serbia and Republic of Belarus agreed on text of Draft agreement on free trade


- Representatives of the governments of Serbia and Republic of Belarus have put their signatures on the text of the Draft agreement on free trade - the Embassy of Serbia to Belarus announced. The text of the Draft agreement has been signed, according to the announcement, after the third round of expert conference that was held in Minsk, and it was signed on Friday (October 12, 2007) by the assistant of the Minister of Economy and Regional Development in the Government of Serbia, Jelena Marjanović, and the deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Vladimir Voronjeckij.
Serbian-Belarus Agrement on free trade is based on mutual agreement that that document should be based on the rules of the World Trade Organization and EU and that lists of goods that would be excluded from the free trade regime should be reduced to a greatest extent.
Value of scope of trade now ranges between 40 and 50m USD with certain surplus realized by Serbia in 2006.
