Preparations for sale of hotels "Slavija" and "Slavija lux" close to end - tender most probably in February 2008

After many announcements, hotels "Slavija" and "Slavija lux", which were parts of "Jat Airways" until 2 years ago, will be finally offered for sale on tender that will be announced at the beginning of the next year. All activities related to preparations for sale of these hotels are close to end.

The contract with the privatization councilor will be signed these days, so that, according to the sources of the Privatization Agency, which runs this procedure, the tender will, most probably, be announced in February.

Hotel complex on Slavija in Belgrade encompasses 3 units on total surface of 30,000 square meters. Its last-year income amounted to 3m EUR, company’s profit was 74m EUR, while the assets were valued to about 27m EUR.

It is likely that another tourist facility from former “Jat’s” chain – “Jat’s Suites on Kopaonik”, will be sold on the auction by the end of the year.
