Russians, Czechs, Germans and Italians compete for Pljevlja-based mine and Steam Power Plant Pljevlja, hotel full of representatives of potential buyers, daily visits to companies


The representatives of Syberian company "Belon group", which produces 60% of coal in Russia, visited Pljevlja-based Coal mine and Steam Power Plant "Pljevlja" after announcement of the tender for its sale.
In the following days they will collect data related to announced tender for sale of Steam Power Plant as property of electric power company of Montenegro, as well as 31% of State-owned assets in coal mine. Representatives of Czech’s Electric Power Company are staying in Pljevlja these days. They visited coal deposit in Maoče, which is estimated to be deposit with reserves of 170 million tons of "black gold ".
Tender documentation was also purchased by company "Rusal", i.e. its daughter company, Cyprus-based company "Salamon enterprises" and German Electric Power Company "EON", and it is expected that Italian "ENEL" will buy the documentation. The tender is open prior to August 1, 2005.
