Possible overhaul of Russian helicopters in Serbia

Delegation of Helikopteri Rusije from the Russian Federation visited the Ministry of Defense, the ministry announced. The visit followed after the visit of the prime minister Aleksandar Vucic to Russia and talks at the governmental level on options of set up of cooperation of defense industries of Serbia and the Russian Federation and especially of the option of set up and expansion of our overhaul capacities for maintenance and overhaul of helicopters of Russian production in Serbia, both for ours and their users from Europe and wider.

"Representatives of the company visited majority of our air traffic developmental, production and overhaul capacities. Members of the Russian delegation expressed beliefs that the visit contributed to set up of wider knowledge on current capacities and technological equipment of our airline companies and assumption was created for further consideration of options of cooperation. The Russian delegation will inform on the results of the visit after which the decision will be made as soon as possible and specific forms and model of cooperation at specific projects will be defined, it was announced.
