USA trains Serbian farmers on potato production

American Ministry of Agriculture will organize training for Serbian farmers in field of protection and production of potato on Zlatibor between October 9 and 12.

The training will be organized within the scope of workshop "Integral protection and production of potato in Serbia" and under the patronage of the Office of American Ministry of Agriculture within the Embassy of USA to Belgrade and Ministry of Agriculture of Serbia.

During the training, experts from the University in Visconsin will speak about modern methods of production of high-quality potato.

Special attention will be paid to integral use of alternative measures for eradication of harmful organisms in the potato sowings, which significantly reduces negative influence of pesticides in human food and environment.
