Assembly adopts budget for 2016

Serbia’s fiscal deficit next year should total RSD 121,8 billion since according to the Law on budget for 2016, planned profit totals RSD 997,4 and expenditures 1.119 billion.

This year should have seen deficit of RSD 191,3 billion but according to the forecast of the Ministry of Finance, it will total app. RSD 100 billion by the end of the year including old debts for gas, military pensions and incentives in agriculture.

Adopted budget as well as budget for 2015 were supported by the International Monetary Fund and are a key part of the Program which solves at the same time deficit issues and structural problems which deficit causes.
