Number of "Lufthansa" passengers in Serbia grew by 30%

"Lufthansa" has increased number of transported passengers in Serbia in 2007 by more than 30%.

Expressing satisfaction with the results of operations in our country, General Manager of that German air transportation company for Serbia and Montenegro, Marek Kuhta, reminded that more than 150,000 passengers from Serbia flew with the planes of company "Lufthansa" in 2006, which made that member of "Star Alliance" (the largest association of air transportation companies) the market leader among foreign airliners in Belgrade.


According to his words, "Lufthansa" covers more than 20% of Serbian air transportation market and it connects Serbia's capital city and "Lufthansa's" most important airports in Frankfurt, Munich and Dusseldorf with 28 direct flights per week.

At the global level, that German company transported more than 50m passengers last year.
