Planned budget of the Ministry of Agriculture totals RSD 40,6 billion - Incentives remain the same

It is, Pavlovic said, a billion less than this year when budget totaled RSD 41,6 billion but outlined that incentives will not decrease as well as that more funds for investments have been planned.
At the press conference, Pavlovic explained that RSD 5,3 billion was set aside for environmental protection and the rest for agriculture, forestry and water engineering.
The source of major part of funds is the budget of Serbia but this year a portion of it is coming from EU support, app. RSD 1,7 billion which is a bit more than before, Pavlovic added.
He stressed out that in income distribution; major part refers to incentives in agriculture, RSD 28 billion.
13% of budget leaves to other expenses such as salaries and court commitments.
He added that for 2016, double funds for
investments were planned in sense of return of invested money with RSD 1,6 billion.
According to him,
this is the second year with program budget and responsible in the ministry are
trying to stick to the purpose of the funds in the budget.
Assistant minister of agriculture, Nenad Katanic, asked to comment on estimation of the Fiscal Council that incentives will be lower by double , although he claims they will not, said he does not want to bid figures and that the ministry will present Regulation on assets distribution in a month.
