Construction and construction machinery trade show Bauma 2016 in Munich between April 11 and 17

The trade show Bauma is the world's leading event in the domain of construction machinery, vehicles, equipment, building materials and mining machines, while its fascinating leasable exhibition space of 605,000 square meters makes it the largest trade fair in the world. In 2013, this event broke all records by attracting a total of 3,421 exhibitors from 57 countries and 535,065 visitors from over 200 countries. Bauma is held every third year, and this year the gates to the fairgrounds in Munich will be open again between April 11 and 17.

Once again, exhibition space for Bauma 2016 in Munich was completely sold out about half a year before the start of the event, the organizers underlined.

However, for the forthcoming event, as it was announced, the organizers have prepared a novelty in order to meet the requirements of enterprises on the waiting list. Namely, for the first time ever, all interested companies that were not able to get an exhibition space at the fair can apply and register for so-called Bauma ONLINE CATALOG. In that case, companies take part in the event without obtaining a space to exhibit in, but they are registered as an additional company among exhibitors and included in the list of exhibitors within a production category that is appropriate for them. These companies are also given an opportunity to schedule and have meetings in a specially organized space at the trade show. Besides, some additional services are made available to such companies, including electronic mailboxes and various advertising options. The reason for all this lies in the fact that Bauma 2016 was unable to meet the requests of all companies interested in exhibiting at the trade fair, which was also the case in 2013. So the Bauma management has decided to do its best this year to allow for as many companies from the waiting list as possible to participate in the event and efficiently take advantage of the Bauma business network.
