MIHAJLOVIC: 2016 to see RSD 15 billion for capital investments

- This year, the ministry had RSD 21 billion, app. 3,5 of which went for infrastructure projects and remaining from companies such as Putevi Srbije, Koridori, Zeleznice"- Mihajlovic said.

As she said, in 2016, the ministry will have a total of RSD 32 billion, more than 15 billion of which will be set aside for capital investments.

At the opening of regional ministerial conference “Corridors of the future”, she said that roads and rails connect countries in the region and that only if we join forces we can have strength to develop.

According to her, the greatest success of Serbia in that field is that EU accepted all regional projects we selected for European traffic network within Berlin process.

It is the future Nis - Merdare - Priština – Albania highway as well as projects for construction of roads and railways towards the Republic of Srpska, Corridor 11 which connects Serbia and Montenegro and others.

The minister outlined that in Serbia 2015, almost 90 km of highway was built.

In her addressing the representatives from the region, Mihajlovic added that road Corridor 10 will be completed in early 2017 and during next year a part of Corridor 11 from Ljig to Preljina will be finished as well.
