Societe Generale bank opens the first online branch office in Serbia

Societe Generale bank introduced innovation at domestic market – online branch office within developed electronic banking service. It is another spot, apart from classic branch office which offers clients even more complex banking services. Online branch office enables not only submission of requests but also implementation of products such as cash credit, allowed loan, permanent payment order, direct debts, via internet without a visit to a bank or contact with courier service. Within this digital branch office, clients , through a video talk, can get advice from banking officers during and after working hours of a bank and at weekends.

To be able to use some of the banking products through internet, legislation governs that a user must have qualified digital certificate which is acknowledged as duly signed one. By the end of January next year, Societe Generale bank will, within online branch office, enable clients to order this certificate and finish their request for online cash dinar loan successfully and refund costs of procurement of digital certificate.

Vuk Kosovac, head of strategy and marketing at Societe Generale bank, said that online branch office is a step forward in digitalization which is a growing trend in banking at global level.
